Ok, I was really excited when I discovered this.   I was on my 8th trip to the Philippines (9/26/16) when I discovered this blade.  I had NEVER SEEN this before.  I thought is was a really cool blade.  Then I did some research and discovered they are made very close to where I live here in the Philippines and when I matched the markings I discovered I had one made by the same Blacksmith featured in the video below!  Guys, watch the video below because it is simply amazing how they turn a lift spring into a cane blade.  The video is very educational and if you're serious about blades then this is a "must watch".  I have to admit, buying this blade and then seeing how it was made really gave me a much greater appreciation of my "find"!  This is a dying art in the west but is still very much alive here in the Philippines!
